The ranking score highlights the companies that have the best performance on the HappyIndex®Candidates survey.

But this performance must be reliable and representative, so the participation rate in the survey is strongly taken into account.

Each candidate interviewed, recruited or not, can spontaneously answer the HappyIndex®Candidates survey on ChooseMyCompany or on the occasion of a survey solicited by the company.

This survey containing 16 questions allows to calculate 2 values:

- The average of the 16 questions, which is a grade / 5 and which is called "the survey's score"
- A recommendation rate, which is a % of candidates who answered "agree" or "strongly agree" to the question "I recommend this company to a friend to apply there"
- The participation rate in the survey is also calculated as follows: number of respondents* / headcount**

- If the participation rate is greater than or equal to 25%, then the coefficient is 1. As soon as this rate decreases, then the coefficient decreases and degrades the survey's score.
- If the recommendation rate is greater than or equal to 70%, then the coefficient is 1. As soon as this rate decreases, then the coefficient decreases and degrades the survey's score.
- The formula is
*2 × HappyIndex × participation rate × recommandation rate*

* About the number of respondents

If the survey is conducted in a solicited way by the employer, the respondents are those who participated in the survey proposed by the company, open between 01/10 and 30/09

If the survey is conducted spontaneously, the respondents are those who spontaneously gave their opinion on ChooseMyCompany

** About the number of interview candidates

These are all candidates who have benefited from at least one physical, telephone or video interview, recruited or not.

If the ranking is France, then the France number of candidates is taken into account.

If the survey is requested, the number of candidates corresponds to the number of candidates questioned.

If the survey is spontaneous, this number is determined as follows:

500 candidates for companies with more than 1,000 employees

200 candidates for companies with 200 to 1,000 employees

100 candidates for companies with -200 employees
